The month of February is filled with lots of hearts and Valentine's Day activities. It is also a terrific time to explore other fun and engaging activities, such as Groundhog Day, Black History Month, and Presidents' Day activities. We have developed a wonderful list of 29 preschool activities that will allow you to bring lots of fun and excitement to your lessons for preschoolers. This list will also save you lots of time and contribute immensely to your calendar of activities.

These Valentine's Day heart sensory bags are a fun preschool activity! They allow preschoolers to mix paint and explore colors. One of the best things about this activity is that preschoolers can play with colored paint, and it is not messy!

This Rescue the Hearts activity creates an awesome sensory experience! Fill a plastic tub with artificial rose petals, heart erasers, and foam hearts. Encourage your preschooler to use tongs to rescue the hidden hearts. This is also a great way to strengthen kids' motor skills.

Groundhog Day is an exciting day in February for little ones! Your preschoolers will have a blast completing this Groundhog Day craft! Once the craft is completed, allow your preschoolers to go outside to see if their groundhog can see its shadow.

Presidents' Day is also celebrated in February. This coin sort is an excellent way to teach preschoolers how to recognize pennies and quarters. Create this activity and allow your preschoolers to sort the coins based on the president found on each.

Your preschoolers can practice letter skills and matching skills with these heart puzzles. Grab some foam hearts or create your own with construction paper. Cut the hearts in half and label them with a lower case letter on one half and an upper case letter on the other half.

This activity is a great science lesson for preschoolers. Place a cardboard cutout of a groundhog on a window and see where its shadow falls.
